That’s it, the envelopes for all residents on zip code 01832 and 01835 are at the Haverhill post office! Expect to receive your brochure and sticker Wednesday or Thursday.

This is all good for Haverhill but for the life of me I do not understand one thing. I am a new condo owner in Bradford, because we have dumpsters we do not have the choice to recycle.
Why is it the city can not pick up recycling from a condo complex? I pay my taxes but yet I do not have the benefit of having a recycling program.
When I ask my association they just tell me “its not something we do here”
I would love to be able to do my part and recycle but I am not given the opportunity to do.
If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them

You can recycle Janet.
The board of Health, which regulates trash and recycling in the City, states:
“The city shall offer single stream curbside recycling services city wide on existing trash routes.”

If the recycling truck goes down your street, then they will pick-up your recycling even though the City does not pick-up your trash. Just use a clearly marked container and place it at the curb on your recycling day. Try it!
You should have received the new 2011 calendar with instructions. Stickers are available at the DPW, 500 Primrose street, 978-374-2360.
